Ben Siebels boarded Lipan as a second class electriciansmate in 1967 and left in 1970 as a first class P.O.  A career navy guy, Ben left the Navy as a Senior Chief and settled down in Minnesota.  Doug Hadland boarded Lipan as a Fireman Apprentice and left in1971 as a Fireman.  Doug ended up in California but on trips back home to visit his parents he realized that Ben lived somewhat nearby and they made plans to visit.  Here's a shot of them together during a recent get-together.
